Privacy policy

HexToCMYK is built so that there is almost nothing to privacy-policy. This page explains the little that does apply.

Last updated 13 October 2026

The short version

Every conversion runs locally in your browser. Nothing you type, pick with the eyedropper, or paste into the bulk converter is sent to a server. There is no account system, no advertising network, and no analytics on your colour inputs.

What we store

The tool keeps two small pieces of information in your own browser storage (localStorage): your recent colours, and your light or dark mode preference. Both stay on your device. Neither is transmitted anywhere, and you can clear them at any time from your browser settings — clearing site data removes them completely.

What we do not collect

We do not collect personal information, emails, or payment details — the site has no registration and nothing to buy. We do not run advertising or third-party tracking scripts on your colour inputs. We do not use cookies.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served as static files through Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare may temporarily process standard request metadata (such as IP address and user agent) in server logs for security and abuse prevention. That traffic never includes your colour data, because colour conversion never leaves your browser.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes in a material way, the updated version will appear on this page with a revised date. The core promise — conversions stay in your browser — is a product decision, not a policy checkbox, so it is not something we expect to reverse.
